WHAT DO YOU OFFER?
From online coaching to local in-person services, I will meet the needs of all clients! You will get access to the Gold Athletics training app where personal training programs, nutrition plans, live videos, and secure messages will live. All programs are month-to-month commitments and programs are CONTINUOUSLY adapted as necessary to ensure progress, meet needs, and push you to reach your goals.
DO YOU MAKE ONE-TIME PROGRAMS?
Yes! One-time programs are for those who are more independent in their nutrition/training regimen or are looking to follow a set plan without input, form checks, or progress check-ins. Though this is not recommended for everyone, I understand that sometimes you just need some guidance but you’re capable of doing the rest! One-time programs are still 100% personalized to meet your needs, goals, preferences, equipment availability, and/or dietary preferences. Reach out directly or apply for more info.
I’M THINKING ABOUT COMPETING. DO YOU DO CONTEST PREP?
Absolutely! Please note that because you want to compete DOES NOT MEAN YOU’RE READY RIGHT NOW. If you’re interested in competing, please contact me or apply for a formal (and brutally honest) assessment. DISCLAIMER: Competing is not for everyone and it’s not a solution to an underlying desire to lose weight. Competing is a sport that requires true dedication and will push you beyond your physical and mental limits.
HOW MUCH DOES COACHING COST?
Training and/or nutrition packages are listed in the ‘services’ section of the website. Different packages include different components that will ensure your success! If you are considering working with me, please reach out to me directly to talk about pricing and payment options that fit your ability.
CAN I TRAIN WITH YOU IN PERSON?
At this time, I do not offer in-person training. If you live in the local, Charlotte NC area, please reach out to me if you require meet-ups to be successful. For competitors, I will make effort to meet up with you if you are in the Charlotte area on.
DO YOU WORK WITH SPECIFIC DIET TYPES?
Yes! Especially in today’s society, I understand that individuals and athletes have many different diet preferences. I am experienced in working with all diet types and will provide specific advice/recipes catered to your preferences. My most common profiles (outside of non-diet specific eating styles) are vegetarian (traditional, flex-, lacto-ovo-), vegan, gluten-free, paleo, Mediterranean, Keto, and Low-Carb.
DO I NEED TO HAVE ACCESS TO A GYM FOR PERSONAL TRAINING?
ABSOLUTELY NOT. I understand that not everyone has the luxury of access to a gym. Many even don’t have access to weights at all! I am incredibly experienced in creating challenging and progressive training programs that may be body-weight only, include your home gym equipment such as bands/dumbbells, exist in commercial gyms, and/or a combination of all three! Simply let me know what your experience is and what you have access to and I’ll take it from there!
I HAVE A VACATION PLANNED. HOW DOES THIS WORK WITH THE PROGRAM?
Life happens! That doesn’t mean you have to put your goals on hold. Regardless of the event- vacations, concerts, weddings, etc., all I ask is for you to keep open communication with us so that I can plan for your events.
WHAT TYPE OF CLIENTS DO YOU WORK WITH?
I work with any client that is committed to working their rear end off and is dedicated to themselves. My biggest requirements are that 1) clients are committed to making their goals a reality, 2) have self-motivation, and if looking for personal training, 3) have at least some basic resistance training experience. I won’t be on your tail, convincing you to work out for the day or eat well. Does that mean I won’t help you through tough times? Absolutely not! I understand that everyone has good and bad days- and I will help you through them. But, I will not accept anything less than your best effort, and I can not want success for you, more than you want it for yourself.
